President’s Report

1 Melbourne Cup Day: - What a lot of fun! Plenty of winners in the sweepstakes, a wide range of interesting outfits, and thanks to all who participated. We could not have managed without our great band of volunteers.
2 Bus Trips: - We had two great trips to Toowoomba to the Carnival of Flowers which included a lovely lunch at the CWA. A good time was had by all.

3 Be Connected: - Thanks to the Good Things Foundation for their grant to enable members to learn more skills on technology, which included their mobiles and laptops. The members who participated were taken on a bus trip to practice their new skills.
4 Membership: - Be early to renew your membership for 2026. Fees have remained the same at $15.00. Activity fees will also remain the same.
Don’t forget that you can get a free activity by buying in bulk - 11 sessions for the price of 10! We accept debit and credit cards as well as cash.
Treat your friend or family member with a bulk card as a Christmas gift.
5 Christmas Shut down:

Our last activity will be held on Friday 19th December, with most activities resuming Monday 12th January 2026.
Between Monday 5th January and Friday 9th January 2026 we will be open for administration and membership renewals ONLY.
6 Thanks: To our wonderful band of volunteers and to all of you who have attended activities which has made the Centre so vibrant.
7 Merry Christmas and a happy and safe New Year. We look forward to having you back in 2026.
