Welcome back to Coolangatta Seniors for 2026

1 Opening: We open on 5^th January for renewals of membership, and to allow you to check out the programme for 2026 and plan your activities. Most activities recommence on Monday 12 January, but there is:

2 New vogue dancing with Patti and Toni on Saturday evening 10 January. Entrance fee is $10, BYO supper, dance from 6.30pm until 9.30pm. If you’ve not tried New Vogue dancing, why not come along to investigate. It could be something you’d like to learn in the new year.

3 Recent new activities include chair yoga on Tuesday from 9.00 until 10.00, and Friday 12.30pm until 1.15pm. There’s beginners’ line dancing also on Friday from 12.30pm until 1.15pm. Maybe you can suggest an activity we do not currently provide – let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

4 Centre upkeep: The Xmas shutdown allowed us to put another layer of protection on the floor of the main hall, which is well used during the year.

We are also in need of upgrading the air conditioning systems.

5 Membership: continues to grow as locals hear of what we can provide. We have kept fees at $15 for one year’s membership, and activity fees have not been increased this year. Most classes cost $6 or $7, depending on the status of the member. Have you checked out our Silver membership programme?

6 Web Page: Check out our new website, it has so much to offer members and non-members and the ability to buy your bulk cards directly and tells you all about the times of our activities.

7 Bus Trips: Keep an eye on our website, newsletters and facebook as we have fortnighly bus trips to a variety of amazing locations coming up.

8 Volunteers:  We are so fortunate that volunteers love to share their passion with you in so many ways – whether running a programme on a regular basis, a special one off or helping on the front desk, the garden, bus transport or behind the scenes. Enjoy what they provide for you, they are the lifeblood of our community.
