Day Trip to Gold Coast War Museum & Nerang RSL

Friday 26th JUNE

Something for everyone!

On Friday 26 June, Coolangatta Seniors will be heading to Mudgeeraba for a fantastic day out at the Gold Coast War Museum and Collectors Armoury, followed by lunch at the Nerang RSL.

Founded in 1975, the Gold Coast War Museum is located in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland and over the past 50 years has grown into one of the largest collections of militaria in Australia. It is a truly peerless tourism complex that brings together the War Museum itself, the Collectors Armoury, and Skirmish Gold Coast all in one place.

The museum is home to numerous unique and impressive military collections contributed by experienced collectors, associations, and living history groups. Adding a touch of Hollywood glamour, much of the museum's equipment has been used alongside famous stars including Russell Crowe, The Rock, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Kylie Minogue, Bryan Brown, and Travis Fimmel.

For those who love a browse, the Collectors Armoury is a must — a one-stop shop for premium replicas and militaria, conveniently located right at the museum.

After a wonderful morning of history and discovery, the group will head to the Nerang RSL for a relaxed and enjoyable lunch together.
