Latest Club News 6th November 2020

A big warm hello to all our members after only our 2nd week together in a new revived centre!

As you may have noticed, we have been super busy trying to get as many activities up and running as possible so check out this week’s latest news…

New Activities starting the week of 9th November

Tuesdays will be busier with the addition of Tap Dancing 9:00 am with Margaret followed by Tai Chi with Ray 10:30 am and then New Vogue Sequence Dance Practice with Carol back on from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Other times for New Vogue Dancing are Thursdays at the usual time 9:00-11:30 am with Brian, Fridays 6:00-9:00 pm with Carol and Saturdays 6.30-10:00 pm with Colin & Elizabeth.

Also look out for Bingo starting back on a new day Mondays from 16th November plus Rock & Roll & more dancing coming soon. French Beginners and Conversation groups will be back in 2021, as will Mah Jong & Scrabble plus Border Rockers on Thursday 21st January. We are still seeking expressions of interest for Chess, Drumming, Art sessions and a Writers & Poets group.

Our new blissful Yoga Fridays with Alice plus Anne’s groovy Line Dancing were well-received this week too! And of course, our regulars 8-Ball, Table Tennis & Indoor Bowls remain our staples. ?

We will continue to host our Members Morning Tea on Wednesdays from 10:00 am for you to come along and meet & greet.

We would really love to see your beautiful faces there. ???

A HUGE shout out to all our centre volunteers who are so invaluable in helping make things run more smoothly in so many ways. Thank you so much for your time, good energy and your positive attitude.

Our AGM is planned for THURSDAY 3RD DECEMBER when the current committee will stand down and a new committee re-elected. We are calling for nominations & any notice for motions now.
